Vegan Chutney Bites


This is one of the easiest sandwich recipes yet loaded with some delicious flavor and has a nice healthy crunch.

Ingredients :

  • Bread ( i used whole wheat bread, but you can use white bread too . )

  • 1 small cucumber Persian, thin-slice

  • 1 Roma tomato, thin-slice

  • 1 medium potato steamed, thin-slice

  • 1 medium beetroot steamed, thin-slice

  • 1/2 white onions, thin-slice

  • Green Chutney ( Cilantro & green chili paste with other ingredients )

  • Butter ( i used vegan)

  • Sandwich Masala

Recipe 

Usually, these sandwiches are made with white bread, but i make ours on whole-wheat bread. 

Step: 1 

  • Peel the potato and Beetroot skin.

Step:2 

  • Cut all the vegetables in thin-slice

Step :3 

  • Cut all four sides of the bread.

Step:4

  • Add some butter ( i added vegan ) on bread before adding chutney.

Step:5 

  • Now spread the green chutney on the bread. I add lots of green chilies to make it spicy.

Step:6

  • Take one sliced and start layering all the vegetables over the chutney ( i always add potatoes first, which helps avoid the bread getting soggy.).

Step:7

  • Sprinkle some sandwich masala.

Step:8

  • Now, place the second slice of bread with butter/chutney over the vegetables.

Step:9

  • Cut the sandwich into 4 squares and enjoy. I like to eat it with some ketchup on the side.
